VERO Software says version 11 of its Machining Strategist multi-axis CAM solution will support VISI 17.
Vero Software’s Machining Strategist generates optimum roughing and finishing CNC toolpaths, and works with data from all major 3D modelling systems.
According to Vero Software, Machining Strategist v11 includes significant enhancements to toolpath calculation times. Benchmark tests have produced over 80% reduction in calculation time for combined waterline, 30% reduction for rest machining and over 15% reduction for raster clearance.
The latest version of Vero Software’s Machining Strategist CAM software also includes new geometry tools for model re-triangulation. The user can set different meshing tolerances to different faces.
This provides the capability of setting tighter tolerances for critical zones or smaller areas to machine without having a major impact on the rest of the model geometry.
