SIEMENS PLM Software has released new versions of four of its CAD enhancement manager software products.
According to the company, version 38.0 of the 3D Dimensional Constraint Manager, Assembly Engineering Manager, Collision Detection Manager and Hidden Line Manager contain new enhancements to improve function and performance.
The software products are part of the company’s D-Cubed systems. These components provide 3D part and assembly modelling, editing and interoperability, 2D/3D parametric sketching, motion simulation, collision detection, clearance measurement and visualisation.
These software tools aim to increase the profitability of software components in the computer aided and product lifecycle management marketplace by upgrading their value and lowering their costs.
Potential applications include mechanical computer aided design, manufacture and engineering, mould design, sheet metal, structural, plant and ship design, and reverse engineering.
