The Simatic WinCC powerrate and PCS 7 powerrate are premium-class add-ons. According to the company, users can potentially save money by using the software to examine the power behaviour of different operating units and monitoring plant status.The software solutions acquire power data from switching, protection and measuring devices.
The powerrate solutions can minimise training costs, because it uses the same data management and visualisation environment as other Simatic software
