ALLPLASTICS has installed a computer numerical controlled centre lathe with counter-spindle and driven tools at its facility, allowing for complex complete machining.

The Gildeme/SterCTX 410 will allow the company to shorten its lead times for its services. Allplastics provides signage, 3D engraving of plastics and MDF, in addition to profiling and prototype manufacture.

The company works mostly with engineering plastics and provides thermoplastic materials and conversion services including acetal, acrylic, Perspex, Teflon, and other plastics.

The new machine means the company will now provide CNC turning, bending, polishing, shape cutting, laminating, moulding, encapsulation, welding, gluing, drilling, forming and other services.
