CONCENTRIC Asia Pacific has released a line of TechViz solutions for introducing interactive and immersive 3D dimensions to the product design and production processes.
According to Concentric Asia Pacific, the TechViz technology enables generic 3D CAD software applications to generate high definition interactive content, including visualisation, human body tracking and virtual assembly.
Designers and engineers can use TechViz to transfer their 3D CAD files to high definition Virtual Reality Centres, caves or visualisation walls and interact with them. The technology is certified to work with more than 60 of the most common CAD products.
The range of solutions includes TechViz XL, TechViz Turbo and TechViz Immersive, which cater for entry-level to high powered PC-cluster environments using multiple projectors. They are suited for architecture, construction, aeronautics, oil and gas, manufacturing and research applications.
TechViz technology is already used by companies like Audi, BMW, and Dassault Aviation. According to Concentric Asia Pacific, these companies have reduced their design and production overheads, and reduced time to market using the technology.
