JEMTECH has released a re-programmable control system for controlling the fold angle on a pan folder or long folder or similar machine.
The PRAXXIS Panfold application loads into displays and position controllers manufactured by the company to provide control over fold angles.
It has a 0.1 degree resolution and can hold four separate fold angles per program, with a total storage capacity of up to thirty separate programs per unit.
According to the solution provider, the system would use useful for machinery manufacturers who want a low cost CNC-like control for their machines. It can also be used in retrofits where an old mechanical or electronic control needs upgrading without the expense of full computer control.
